Richard Berberian is a self-proclaimed music enthusiast who spent the first part of his professional life teaching music in public schools and later at Boston University. As much as this career fulfilled his creative side, it didn’t do much for the entrepreneurial itch within him, and he eventually left teaching to start his own business in the commercial entertainment industry.

Hi tribal name is Running Bear and he is the Chairman of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe of Massachusetts, making him the head of the elected government for the 2800 member federally recognized tribe. Prior to this government position, he spent 13 years developing skills in leadership, technology, and best business practices with Fidelity Investments followed by eight years on the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Council.

She’s the performance coach for hedge fund giant Bobby Axelrod on the hit show, Billions on Showtime. In 1992 he joined The Walt Disney Company as Operations Host and Special Projects Manager at Walt Disney World Resort – Disney MGM Studios, rising to Senior Manager of Synergy/Alliance Marketing and Talent Executive at Walt Disney Parks by 1996.
